Potato Salad is a salad that everyone loves to eat. But to make the perfect salad you need to add one ingredient that makes it taste creamier and healthier for you. That ingredent is plain low fat yogurt. All you need is:
- 1 lb of patotes (any kind will do)
- 1/4 diced celery
- 1 tsp of paprika
- t tsp of basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 4 strips of bacon strip (cooked crispie, crumbled)
- 1 c plain low-fat yogurt
- 2 tbsp of mayonaise
Boil the patotes with the skins on, its easier to peel and saves fustration. When the potatoes are done, peel. Cut them in cubes (it doesn’t have to be perfect trust me no one will notice.) Add the remaining ingredents. Fold the ingredents together, learn more, do not mix them. You want the patotes to stay in cubes as much as possible. Taste, all cooks taste their food to make sure it is taste good. Adjust your recipe as need according to your taste and serve, or cover and refrigerate until use. The yogurt makes the salad more creamier and less richer tasting. Take a look here to learn more: Get in my Belly: Miso Potato Salad with Green Beans
